What we collect

Companion collects the following information only when you choose to join or create a community:

• A display name you provide
• A randomly generated device identifier
• Notes and prayer requests you voluntarily share with your community

What we don't collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or any account information
• We do not track your location
• We do not sell your data to anyone
• We do not use your data for advertising

Local data

Your personal practices — scripture verses, examen entries, Lectio notes, and rule of life — are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

Community data

If you join a community, your display name and any notes or prayer requests you voluntarily share are stored securely in our database and visible to other members of your community.

Data deletion

You can leave a community at any time from the Members tab, which removes your membership. To request full deletion of your data, contact us at the email below.
